	Novodevichy Monastery, also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky Monastery (&#1053;&#1086;&#1074;&#1086;&#1076;&#1077;&#1074;&#1080;&#1095;&#1080;&#1081; &#1084;&#1086;&#1085;&#1072;&#1089;&#1090;&#1099;&#1088;&#1100;, &#1041;&#1086;&#1075;&#1086;&#1088;&#1086;&#1076;&#1080;&#1094;&#1077;-&#1057;&#1084;&#1086;&#1083;&#1077;&#1085;&#1089;&#1082;&#1080;&#1081; &#1084;&#1086;&#1085;&#1072;&#1089;&#1090;&#1099;&#1088;&#1100;) is probably the most famous monastery in Moscow. His name, often translated as the Monastery of new virgin, was created to differentiate the old convent of virgins, the name was known Chudov Monastery in the Moscow Kremlin. Unlike other monasteries in Moscow, has remained virtually unchanged since the seventeenth century.
